Testimonials

“Danielle is an excellent pilates instructor. Her mat classes go by so quickly. She explains each exercise or movement in great detail and demonstrates it beautifully so that you have a thorough understanding of what you should be doing. Her impressive knowledge of the body’s musculature enables her to really target the movement. The small movements don’t seem difficult, but they creep up on you. You don’t realize how hard you’ve been working. My core is stronger and I have greater flexibility since working with Danielle. Plus she plays great music!”

“Whether you are new to mat Pilates or a veteran, Danielle's classes are both satisfying and inspiring. Combining Pilates with some Yoga, her workouts are a challenge, but not overwhelmingly so; heighten one's awareness of breath and different parts of the body, but to to the exclusion of a complete work-out; and leave one tired, yet remarkably energized and happily sore the next day. In other words, Danielle's approach is just right.

In my long career of exercising (from the Lotte Berk Method to Orange Theory), I have never encountered a teacher who combines such great skill in teaching a group with individualized attention to the needs of each participant. Moreover, Danielle is focused on much more than exercise. She focuses on you, your overall health and well-being. This winter, she organized special classes that hit it out of the park in terms of educating her clients about how to best address pelvic health and to relieve stressed muscles through self-massage techniques. No one asked her to do that; she just did it. I like the fact that Danielle is always searching for a better way to help her clients. Thoughtful and attentive, she thinks about her clients holistically and what they need beyond the Pilates mat.”
